Who takes this course?
Elected First Aid Officers are common requirements in most workplaces. It ensures that any persons within an office environment are given basic, vital medical attention in the case of an incident before emergency services arrive.
AusHealth’s HLTPAT009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training is one of three essential First Aid courses.
What will I learn?
In this unit, participants will learn:
- The skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines
- How to perform CPR in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings
This is a required unit of all registered or nominated first aiders within a workplace setting, and must be completed annually to maintain competency.

Our blended delivery offers engaging online theory followed by a short two-hour practical session run by experienced and highly qualified AusHealth trainers and assessors.
How do I get certified?
Participants will receive an AusHealth (HLTAID009) Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification as part of their in-person First Aid training.
AusHealth certifications are recognised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and are in line with ARC guidelines.
