MEDICAL VISAS

Patients travelling to Australia to obtain medical treatment will require a Medical Treatment Visa.

The Visa Department of the relevant Australian Embassy or Consulate is not able to issue a Medical Treatment Visa unless the following is provided:

• Proof of prior arrangements with a hospital / medical facility
• Proof of payment for medical treatment

Aushealth will provide a letter of support to the relevant Embassy to assist the Patient’s Visa Application.
