EMERGENCY PATIENTS

International patients admitted to hospital via the Accident and Emergency Department will be visited by one of our International Patient Co-ordinators.

Our International Patient Co-ordinators will assist the patient with finalising payment arrangements for their hospital stay.

This may involve:

  • Contacting the international insurance or assistance company on behalf of the patient
  • Obtaining written guarantee for medical fees from the insurance company and / or patient
  • Providing medical details to the insurance company
  • Finalising invoice
  • Obtaining payment from the insurance company and/or patient.
